“Loving Hands” online contest of Mommy Academy and Wilkins Distilled Drinking Water.

Now is your chance to honor the woman who gives motherhood a good name and win cool prizes at the same time.

Joining this contest is so easy.  All you have to do is to nominate a mother who you know values safety in her home.  If you know a woman who is, at all times, committed to keeping her loved ones healthy against diseases, then she is worthy of your nomination.  

She can be your mom, sister, relative, neighbor, classmate, or friend.   In fact, you can even nominate yourself.  Isn’t that great?

Make sure your contest entry will detail the name of your chosen mother and do include a 200-word essay narrating the inspiring story of your nominee.

A Contest entry consists of name of nominee, JPEG photo of nominee
and an essay narrating the extraordinary mothering ways of the nominee.   

The essay must be 200 words (maximum), in English or Filipino and not previously published.  

There will be a pre-selection of entries and the lucky ones will have their essays posted online in the Mommy Academy website until September 30, 2010.

The next thing that will happen is the online voting of the public.  People will vote for their choice entries and the one who will garner the most number of votes will win. By August 29, online voting will start and it will end on September 30, 2010.

The exciting part is that two (2) winners and their corresponding nominators will be chosen.  Nominator and nominee get to win in two categories: Judges’ Choice and Voter’s Choice.  So if you were the one who nominated the winner, you get to win too.

Total of Four winners will be declared.
There will be two categories with 2 winners each.
Both nominee and nominator will win.

The winners of the “Loving Hands” contest will get to win exciting prizes.  The one who will win the Judges’ Choice category will enjoy a Family Trip to Hong Kong Disneyland plus Wilkins supply until December 2010.  The one who nominated the entry will also get to take home an LCD TV and a gift pack from Wilkins.

Prizes at stake for the Judges’ Choice Category winners:
• Famiy Trip for 4 to HK Disneyland + Free Wilkins for the Family until December 2010 (for the nominee)
• 32” LCD TV + Wilkins gift pack (for the nominator)

The winner of the Voter’s Choice category will win P50,000 worth of shopping gift certificates plus Wilkins supply until the end of the year.  And of course, the nominator of the winner will receive P5,000 shopping gift certificates and a special Wilkins Gift Pack.

Prizes at stake for the Voters’ Choice Category winners:
• P50,000 family shopping GCs + Free Wilkins for the Family until December 2010 (for the nominee)
• P5,000 shopping GCs + Wilkins gift pack (for the nominator)

The ten finalists will also get shopping gift certificates and even a Wilkins Home Starter Kit.  That’s a Wilkins water dispenser and a Wilkins 5 gallon bottle.

All 10 Finalists will receive:
• P5,000 shopping GCs + Wilkins Home Starter Kit (for the nominees)
• P5,000 shopping GCs (for the nominators)

Come October 1, 2010, the winners of the “Loving Hands” contest will be announced.
